Income & Employment

FINCA helps low-income people grow their businesses and earn additional income for poverty alleviation. We survey our microfinance clients to measure how much income they are earning, how many people they employ, and how much of that employment is the result of FINCA's assistance. This is the measure of our direct impact, according to our customers.

These indicators provide a revealing view into the productive activities our clients and the extent to which FINCA is helping them to generate employment for themselves and others. Besides the data presented below, the subsidiary-level sections also provide a breakdown of profits and employment by sector (see Special Topics).
